ILIA Trains Youth Essay Competitors on Conflict Resolution
It was a brisk fall day on Nov 22nd when two dozen students walked into the Islamic Society of Washington Area for an interactive conflict resolution training session offered by ILIA’s Chairman Ayman Nassar. Students were exposed to types of conflict, the concept of concept in Islam, conflict situations and types of conflict resolution. Students shared practical experiences of conflict in their lives and were provided opportunities for group activities and short skits.
ILIA appreciates the volunteer efforts of Br. Mostafiz Choudhary and Br. Ayman Nassar for their time and donated efforts in developing the youth of our region. The workshop was one of a several which Mafiq Foundation has been organizing and managing.
