Intensive Math Review and Jump Start , Sept 21-22, 2013
While the summer may have been all fun and games, its time to get back to the grind this upcoming school year. Come join us for this 2 half-day intensive math orientation program to get your middle or high school student a solid head start for the school year. We will be reviewing core concepts for you child that will be essential in ensuring they have a great running start for this school year. Students will be reviewing math concepts for their grade level and the last 2 grade levels. For example, 8th graders, they will review 6th, 7th grade math and get a jump start on 8th grade math. The intensive 2-days will provide students with a well rounded view of their math curriculum and how it all connects together.
All math levels 6th-8th and 9th-12th grade are welcome to apply. Tutors will be available to provide one on one reviews with students in all subjects in math including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Geometry, and More!
Separate sessions for middle school and high school grades. Limit 12 students. Supply fees not included. $35 supply fee additional per student. Sibling discount of 10% available. Who: All students currently enrolled in grades 6 – 12. Attendees do not have to be enrolled or students at Al-Huda School
Program will include:
- Key concepts review and brush up from prior years to ensure solid foundation
- Holistic perspective on math and its significance and how it is a chill subject
- Sheets and sheets of practice, problem solving and exercises
- Review of student answers and assessment of strengths and weaknesses
