The logo brings together the heritage of Islam with the progressive nature of research and scholarship. The circle represents the unity of our communities, the sun is s symbol of guidance and enlightenment and the minaret and dome are symbols of faith and knowledge. The rays are curly representing the main population served by the organization, the youth. The ILIA letters across from the year of launch represent the simplicity of US Muslims with the dynamic nature o American society represented in the Arial font.
