As salaamu ‘Alaikum: I pray this message reaches you, your families & all believers in the best of health, spirits & ever increasing Imaan & ‘Amaal.
I am the Director of NMIA (The New Muslim Institute of The Americas) in Baltimore (see article in recent ML news). I just found out about your retreat & have many new Muslims in this age group that truly need & would greatly benefit from such an event. I myself use to run several Muslim youth camps & such programs for many years, may be of some help also.
I don’t know if there is a cost for this trip as it is not mentioned here on your site, but all of these guys (with exception of one of my students) come from non-Muslim homes that are also of limited means & it is highly unlikely for their non-Muslim parent (s) to give up money for such a thing. Please let me know if you have room for me & any of my students & how many students (if any) I can bring?
I too have not been working for sometime therefore my finances are limited, but may be able to put something, but mostly are willing to lend my experience & tireless energy.
Please let me know something ASAP cause I would have to inform these students parents & get their permission & the more time for that the better.
