Position Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate and develop programs for young learners, as well as manage events, courses and activities related to these programs.
Role Qualifications:
College student majoring in education, psychology or human development.
Strong project management, and organization skills.
Knowledge of youth program operating procedures, delivery processes and expected outcomes.
Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
Ability to conduct research and define youth needs and priorities.
Experience using survey tools, data analysis and reports.
Ability to track issues, risks and opportunities and to follow up on them.
Ability to work with partners to deliver program objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop program objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and track throughout the program life cycle.
Work with academic faculty to develop engaging youth programming that is educational, entertaining and developmental.
Meet youth and check-in visitors into our facility.
Chaperone youth during programs and supervise safe spaces
Contact instructors, public speakers, coaches, tutors to lead programs
Promote and provide outreach locally to youth programs in Baltimore
Utilize social media to build strong youth engagement
Writing email messages and updating web pages for the Baltimore Chapter
Work with vendors to secure resources needed for onsite and offsite programs.
Designing and implementing quarterly and annual reports
Track outcomes against organizational KPIs and refine plans and implementation strategies
Ensure facility, resources, online capabilities are available and set up for programs.
